Equipment Productivity Monitoring System
Features
1 |
    Real Time Information Monitoring
EMPS provides real-time equipment monitoring capabilities and directly acquires data the equipment's output, current equipment state, operator information, equipment state history etc, allowing the user a REAL TIME VIEW on the entire production line. This instant access to equipment states allows the site supervisors / engineers to react to anomalies quickly. Supervisors can compare differences in performances between lines and equipment enabling them to identify and improve sub-performing equipment and processes. |
2 |
    Overall Equipment Efficiency
EMPS offers a complete measurement for OEE, provided in the functions of Availability (A), Performance Rate (P) and Quality Rate (Q). OEE can be used as a fundamental KPI for performance measurement against standards, or benchmark with production levels against competitors' or industry averages. OEE provides a complete picture of where productive manufacturing time and money is being lost and helps uncover the plant capabilities. It is a key manufacturing decision support tool for any continuous improvement effort. |
3 |
Comprehensive Data / Charting Reporting Of Measured Data
EPMS provides a set of comprehensive reporting and charting tools for users to select and view the desired measured data. Users can compile, compare and generate charts based on entire plant, individual lines right down to individual equipment. Users can also set the time period under review and selectively view specific sections of the production floor or as a total plant-side across different geographical areas or zoom in on a piece of equipment. The reporting and data processing modules allow users to choose and compare equipment performances on time period, specific OEE information, state history, total downtime etc. |
4 |
Individual Cell Controller for Equipment/Operator State
EPMS incorporates a purpose built cell controller terminal for ease of integration with your equipment and also serves as a Human- Machine-Interface (HMI) for the operator to input additional data for performance evaluation and measurement. Mexter's Cell Controller Terminal is designed to be user-friendly and robust, with a small form-factor, ideal for production floor usage. It features an easy to view alphanumeric LCD display, numeric keypad, 16 keys-state keypad, real-time clock, on-board storage medium, general purpose input/output, and Ethernet connection. |
5 |
    Data Processing Module
EPMS's Data Processing module fetches raw data from the Data Storage Centre for processing and outputs useful information to the user via EPMS reporting & plant-view module. The Data Processing Module calculates OEE, Availability, Performance, Quality rate etc, displaying information for user to perform further analysis, make decisions and carry out preventive actions when required. |
